HR Business Partner

Key Role:
Provide human resources (HR) subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and coaching to consult with local business leaders on talent management, change initiatives, and programs that support increased affiliation, engagement, and retention effectively. Partner with leaders or frontline managers to guide and support employee engagement and development, compensation practices, and performance and risk management. Serve as an internal consultant to business leaders and as a resource to employees and travel to sites regularly to scan the business environment, facilitate staff focus groups, drive increased engagement, assess risks, and follow up to ensure issue resolution and closure. Partner with business leaders to comprehend team and individual performance concerns, recommend strategies to improve performance, and monitor for improvement. Identify, resolve, and escalate barriers and risks in a timely manner and serve as a champion of change to drive the adoption of new approaches, programs, and technologies and diversity and inclusion tactics. Contribute to the strategic direction, formulation, and implementation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives, including Workday adoption, performance management, and risk identification or mitigation and scan the employee environment proactively using data and insights to partner with local leaders to promote increased, effective engagement. Drive deeper adoption and usage of the firm’s culture and inclusion programs and wellness initiatives, act as a business advisor and consultant to drive HR delivery in support of business priorities, advise leaders regarding risk issues in the local environment, follow up to ensure successful resolution, including promotion analysis, capacity management, crisis management, and EEO, and act as a change champion for people, programs, and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with HR and consulting
-Experience with using facts and analytics to comprehend trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organization
-Knowledge of HR technology, including HRIS or Workday
-Ability to display a proven track record of solid performance and be comfortable and confident in leading through change
-Ability to be results driven as a trusted advisor to leaders, peers, and employees with an excellent consultative approach
-Ability to problem-solve to address a variety of employee or people issues
-Ability to travel between 25%-50% of the time
-BA or BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development required
