Human Capital Consultant

Key Role:

Apply expertise in change management, organization assessment and design, human capital, strategic planning, talent management, and general management consulting to government consulting. Support Booz Allen teams working with clients to execute strategic and tactical human resource-related initiatives and solve workforce challenges. Facilitate the execution of operational human resource activities, provide analysis for the development of human resource-related policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and capture and analyze business processes. Learn to complete important assignments quickly and within tight timeframes. Monitor and direct the workflow of the project, contribute functional expertise for the management of client deliverables, develop client-ready products, including briefings, reports, and internal communications, and leverage industry best practices in human resources, strategy, and change management. Execute human resource requests, analyze current human resource processes, policy, and process development, and identify business opportunities and potential growth areas. Synthesize and analyze complex information, and work with the broader team to develop high-quality interim and final deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with general management consulting, including change management, organizational assessment and design, human capital, strategic planning, or talent management

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to be self-motivated and multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree in Industrial or Organizational Psychology or Human Resources

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with direct client service preferred

-Possession of excellent time management and organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
