IA/Cyber Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Apply knowledge of Cybersecurity engineering practices used to secure technical solutions, including applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure that are operationally viable and efficient. Leverage security products and technologies to protect the organization’s systems and information and enable achievement of the organization’s objectives. Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and other procedures in accordance with DoD policy to obtain IA Certification, Certificates of Networthiness (CoNs), and Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) for US Army client systems. 


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in an IA/Cyber engineering role

-Experience with Cybersecurity information assurance in a DoD environment

-Experience with DoD Cybersecurity compliance and certification processes and governing regulations

-Experience with building, modifying, and managing DIACAP and RMF packages for IA/Cyber certification

-Experience with using eMASS

-Experience with Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes

-Ability to work across diverse mission areas simultaneously, operate in a fast–paced environment, make effective and timely decisions, solve problems, and facilitate organizational and procedural changes

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Computer Engineering, or EE


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD Dir 8500.01 Cybersecurity and DoDI 8500.02 IA Implementation

-Experience with ICD 503 Intelligence Community Information Technology System Security Risk Management

-Experience with DoDI 8510.01 IA RMF, NIST, and FISMA

-Experience with performing vulnerability assessments, interpretation, and remediation

-Experience with PM Mission Command products

-MA or MS degree in Engineering, CS, Computer Engineering, EE, or related technical field

-DoD 8750 Compliant Certification, including CISSP or Security+


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
