IA Engineer, Mid

Key Role:
Support the modernization and integration of Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) mission applications and infrastructure components. Apply knowledge of Cybersecurity engineering practices used to secure technical solutions, including applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure that is operationally viable and efficient. Leverage security products and technologies to protect the organization’s systems and information and enable achievement of the organization’s objectives. Contribute to the integration of Cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery and remediation and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities as a means of improving the security posture while reducing manpower requirements This position is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with working as a Cybersecurity specialist for the federal government
-5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 / 20012 R2, Red Hat Linux 6/7, VMWare, and ESXI
-Experience with eMASS
-Experience with analyzing the development of security policies while performing mid- and long-range policy planning
-Experience with Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
-Knowledge of the application of FISMA and Risk Management Frameworks (RMFs) 
-Active TS/SCI clearance required
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Windows PowerShell or Pearl scripting
-Knowledge of Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) components and processes
-Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers and senior government officials
-CISSP Certification
