Information Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Formulate and define systems' scopes and objectives based on both user needs and thorough comprehension of business systems and industry requirements. Analyze procedures to solve complex problems while considering computer equipment capability and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results, including analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into proper system requirement specifications. Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Instruct, direct, and check the work of business systems analysis personnel. Act as a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with designing, building, and managing an enterprise-wide taxonomy

-Ability to be an adviser for structured and unstructured data efforts

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with leading content strategy and managing Web site updates

-Experience with conducting weekly development progress reporting

-Experience with developing a product roadmap and managing against the milestones

-Knowledge of Information Management (IM) and Architecture (IA)

-Ability to author statements of work and other documents from provided templates, as required

-Knowledge of tracking and oversight of schedules

-Ability to communicate project objectives and outcomes to the client

-Ability to manage the site taxonomy

-Ability to work independently and manage direct and daily interaction with the client
