Information Assurance Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Guide the development of information assurance (IA) policy, requirements, engineering, and accreditation and process systems for accreditation of modeling and simulation systems using the DIACAP and Risk Management Framework (RMF). Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions and interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure systems and test security products and systems to detect security weaknesses. Conduct regular audits to ensure systems are being operated securely and computer security policies and procedures are being implemented, as defined in security plans.

Basic Qualifications:
-12+ years of experience with information assurance engineering, including DoD information assurance and RMF standards
-5+ years of experience in Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or Service General Staff as military, civilian or contractor in the areas of operations, training, or network engineering
-2+ years of experience in interoperability activities associated with one or more service domain simulation or agency functional model that currently federates with the Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) federation
-Top Secret clearance required
-MA or MS degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering
-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with two or more of the following technology areas: DoD Public Key Infrastructure for the tactical environment, event logging and analysis for a defensive Cyber infrastructure, cross domain solutions and accreditation, cryptographic key management, or overarching Cyber forensic analytics capabilities
-Experience with firewalls and IPS, IDS, and Web content filtering
-Knowledge of policies, directives, or regulatory guidance in the Cybersecurity field
-Knowledge of implementing and enforcing security policies across the organization
-Ability to comprehend network vulnerability scanners, including Retina, ACAS, or Nessus and patch management software, such as WSUS, SCCM, SMS, or Hercules

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
