Information Assurance Security Analyst

Key Role:
Perform tasks independently as a member of a team conducting operational Cybersecurity readiness inspections for Marine Corps clients. Perform system security evaluations for secure operation of IT Systems across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), using Marine Corps and DoD approved security tools and methodologies. Operate automated tools to identify systems that are exploitable for a given vulnerability or are insecurely configured quickly and accurately. Analyze results thoroughly, remove false positives, and recommend mitigations for all identified vulnerabilities. Apply tested and approved system patches to mitigate vulnerabilities as patches become available or adjust system configurations. Provide recommendations for threat and vulnerability mitigation conducted by means of architecture review, documentation review, security scanning and scanning results review, and configuration verification.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with conducting DoD network, system, or organizational Cyber readiness inspections
-Experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) or experience with the DoD Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), National Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (NIACAP), or DoD Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) process
-Experience with security or system auditing tools, including ACAS, HBSS, or Splunk
-Experience with analyzing and communicating network security issues to peers and management
-Knowledge of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software
-Knowledge of networking and router technologies and network security issues
-Active Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-IAT Level II Certification, including Security+
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with conducting code reviews, ICS/SCADA inspections, or IA training
-Experience with hacking tools 
-Knowledge of Marine Corps or military organization, culture, and policies
-Ability to stay abreast of internal and external security best practices
-Top Secret clearance
-IAM Level II Certification preferred, including CASP, CISM, or CISSP
-One or more technical certifications, including  Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Cisco, GIAC, such as Cyber Defense or Incident Response, HP Fortify, or eWPT
-CEH Certification a plus
 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
