Information Assurance Security Officer

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable IA and accreditation policies, regulations, and procedures. Work as a tester, including discovering and correcting malfunctions in code. Review all proposed change requests regarding system design or configuration and perform security impact analysis. Interpret and develop technical documentation, including ERD and UML.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with development and systems engineering

-Experience with incident response processes, procedures, and tools

-Experience with standard technical writing tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Experience with the Linux command line

-Experience with application security controls, including design, dynamic scans, and static code analysis

-Experience with Active Directory security, including scans, best practices, and security configurations

-Knowledge of the underlying protocols and data used as the basis for the security monitoring service, including HTTP, HTTPS, SQL, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and application and database security, such as code reviews

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with directory services, LDAPs, and their inherent security for Active Directory or CA Directory, proxy and caching services, and client or server platforms, such as Windows or Linux preferred

-Experience with programming and scripting for the development of security tools and industry frameworks preferred

-TS/SCI clearance

-Security+, Net+, and Security Management, Network, or Security Certifications a plus, including CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GCIH


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
