Information Assurance Support Consultant

Key Role:
Perform Information Assurance tasks required for DIACAP Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for client standalone systems. Maintain responsibility for unclassified standalone systems, including Macintosh and Windows workstations or laptops, Apple iPads, routers, switches, livestreaming and audio-visual peripherals, and embedded equipment. Perform testing, analysis, and validation and develop documentation to be used in the DIACAP or RMF overall process. Support the client's Command Information Officer (CIO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in the review and analysis of information assurance or Cybersecurity task orders, policies, Cybersecurity Inspections (CSIs), and directives or attend ad-hoc meetings, as required by the CIO or ISSM. Perform Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) tasks and support the client's ISSM in the implementation of DIACAP or RMF processes for standalone client systems. Execute DoD validation procedures, the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tool, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), SCAP, Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), and additional testing, as required or documented by DIACAP or RMF. Enter and keep up to current the security authorization package, security controls, and required artifacts into eMASS. 

Basic Qualifications:
-Knowledge of the DoD's C&A and RMF A&A processes
-Ability to manage Macintosh and Windows systems
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience with C&A and RMF A&A processes in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with routers, switches, livestreaming and audio-visual peripherals, and embedded equipment, including ACAS, STIGs, and EMASS
-Top Secret clearance

-DoD 8570.01 CompTIA Security+ CE Information Assurance Certification or equivalent IAT-II qualifying certification
