Information Operations Planning and Assessment Lead, Mid

Key Role:
Serve as an information operations (IO) planner and assessment lead for a Combatant Command client. Conduct deliberate and contingency IO planning, functional plan development and validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and Interagency. Provide quality, relevant input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports. Conduct and validate research and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, briefings, and assessment reports. Develop objectives, measures of effectiveness, and measures of performance to assess the impact of IO activity across command lines of effort. Interpret results independently using a variety of techniques and tools and collaborate widely across the information-related capabilities community and command staff to produce timely and relevant products to support command requests for information (RFIs). Collaborate with headquarters and component command IO, other staff, and external stakeholders to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures to enhance DoD capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with IO or military planning or assessment
-Experience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria

-Experience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses

-Experience with solving complex problems

-Experience with briefing senior leadership

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with working in the DoD as military, civilian, or contractor in a Joint or combined HQ, major command, or higher headquarters
-Experience with the Combatant Command's AOR operations
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance
-MA or MS degree
