Information Security Analyst

As an information security analyst on our team, you have the chance to evaluate and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure that information technology (IT) systems meet the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) information assurance (IA) and security requirements. Your technical expertise will be vital as you strengthen the client’s security posture. You’ll participate in the definition of organizations’ desired state and risk thresholds and analyze actual state information to assess compliance. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in performing security authorizations for civilian government agencies
  • Experience with NIST Special Publications (SP) related to the SA process, including SP 800-53, SP 800-137, and SP 800-37
  • Experience with continuous monitoring and plan of action and milestones (POA&M) management
  • BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with a FISMA authorization tool, including NSAT) 
  • Experience in working with NIH and NICHD a plus
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Professional Certifications, including Security+ and CISSP
