Information Security Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Provides security engineering support, service, and guidance to the eMAPS enclave and networks to remain compliant. Assist with designing, developing, or recommending integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary or confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services to support integrated security systems and solutions. Participate in the strategic design process with the client to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Assist with configuring and validating secure systems and testing security products and systems to detect security weakness. Prepare materials for computer security education or awareness programs. Respond to queries and requests for computer security information and reports.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience as an information security engineering

-Experience with authentication methods, including Kerberos, ADFS, and PKI and establishing two-way LDAP, Forrest Trust, ADFS, or PKI

-Experience with Cybersecurity specifications, including the risk management framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs, and government security specifications and guidelines

-Experience with performing analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures

-Experience with designing, developing, engineering, and implementing solutions that meet security requirements

-Experience with analyzing and implementing information assurance or security standards and procedures

-Experience with coordinating, developing, and evaluating security programs for an organization

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

-One or more of the following certifications: 8570 Certification, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
