Information Security Engineer

Key Role:

Provide support by performing Information Assurance (IA) scans, developing IA accreditation packages and other IA documentation for review and submission in meeting DoD milestones. Support the Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO), ensuring the implementation of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) dissemination, reporting, and compliance procedures. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions to manage information risks. Develop or recommend integrated security system and physical control solutions that ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Support the development of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) as required for the program.  


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army Acquisition and DA PAM 70-3 Army Acquisition Implementation

-Experience with RMF and CCI

-Knowledge of DoD 8500, AR 25-2, AR 70-1, and DA PAM 70-3 Army Acquisition Implementation

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience with information security or assurance in the government field in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

-DoD 8570 Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Army IA processes and procedures

-Experience in the intelligence community

-Experience with the configuration management of military software, including source code, documentation, and fieldable products

-Experience with software development and testing

-Knowledge of the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS)

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent customer service and organizational skills

-TS/SCI clearance preferred

-Microsoft IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) on Windows 2003 or 2008 server, Windows 7 MCSE, equivalent Operating Systems Certification, or Cisco Certification


Clearance:
