Information Security Engineer

Key Role:

Assist with designing, developing or recommending integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Participate with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Assist with configuring and validating secure systems, including testing security products and systems to detect security weakness. Prepare materials for computer security education and awareness programs. Respond to queries and requests for computer security information and reports. Provide guidance to junior information security engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience as an information security engineer

-Experience with authentications methods, including Kerberos, ADFS, and PKI and establishing two-way LDAP, Forrest Trust, ADFS, or PKI

-Experience with performing analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures

-Experience with designing, developing, engineering, and implementing solutions that meet security requirements 

-Experience with developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures

-Experience with coordinating, developing, and evaluating security programs for an organization

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity specifications, including risk management framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelines

-TS/SCI clearance

-AA or AS degree

-8570 Certifications, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or CompTIA Advance Security Practitioner (CASP)
