Infrastructure Analyst

Key Role:

Support infrastructure technology, tool, and vendor selections by working with key stakeholders to develop criteria, facilitate vendor briefings, and select technologies, including conducting proof-of-concept evaluations. Work as part of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) program team analyzing key EA products, including security policies, infrastructure, Cloud storage, DevOps, enterprise storage, and infrastructure life cycle management strategies, and continuous integration and deliver (CI/CD) processes to develop evaluation criteria. Develop and nurture customer relationships with data center operations and support personnel and work on complex, sensitive business problems to support implementation of state-of-the-art data center solutions. Develop expertise in new and cutting-edge infrastructure technologies. Conduct proof-of-concept testing in agency labs, document findings, and report recommendations to senior client staff.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with enterprise-level systems engineering activities

-Experience with leading technical work streams

-Experience with interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and building consensus

-Ability to conduct complex analysis

-Ability to plan and execute proof-of-concepts independently

-Ability to develop materials or content for executive-level presentations

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with serving as a trusted technical advisor to CIOs, CTO, chief architects, or other senior IT leaders

-Experience in developing infrastructure strategy for large organizations with legacy and modernized infrastructures

-Experience with Cloud infrastructure architecture design, including migration from legacy to cloud platforms

-Experience with supporting government clients

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree preferred
