Infrastructure Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Plan and conduct engineering activities using Microsoft technologies, including server side engineering, operating systems, group policy, and security hardening. Draft technical documentation and comprehend existing technical manuals, security guidelines, and design and operational documents. Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organize the means to achieve solutions for complex technical problems. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Provide hands–on support to servers in the client engineering lab and in production providing Tier III database support. Interface with government and contract engineers required in the support of client engineering projects.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Microsoft

-Ability to be a self–starter to create productivity in the client environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570 IA Baseline IAT Level II Certification, including Security+

-MCITP Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

-Microsoft SQL, VMware, and SharePoint Certification
