Infrastructure Engineer, Mid

Key Role:
Support an Army personnel and pay system as an expert in IT systems architecture. Make well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues. Coordinate with users to determine requirements. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Work in a diversified environment supporting the largest pay and payroll system for the US Army.

Basic Qualifications:

-6 years of experience with providing DoD IT consulting support in a specialized area, including enterprise services, service-oriented architecture, service development and integration, service governance, or knowledge management

-6 years of experience with systems engineering, service orientation concepts and enabling technologies

-5 years of experience with IT, technology, architecture design, and software development and implementation in an Agile environment

-4+ years of experience with data analysis or integration and implementation of complex data management

-Experience with software development, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support

-Experience with designing and implementing solutions that apply Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS capabilities

-Experience with troubleshooting virtual machines and Windows hardware and software from client to server level

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with installing and supporting related IT products, including databases and network devices

-Experience with high availability IT systems and solutions

-Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft support, installation, or maintenance or other large ERP solutions

-Experience with ensuring an application conforms to DoD STIG guidelines

-Red Hat, Sun/Solaris, or Microsoft Operating System Certifications
