Infrastructure Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Apply experience with technical network administration by consolidating a VMware virtual server environment. Maintain an environment's storage infrastructure by providing optimal availability, performance, and best practices. Design, implement, and manage virtual and physical networks. Manage new installations of Cyber systems, including ensuring coordination with weapon system program offices and system operators.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with deploying or consolidating physical or virtual server environments

-8+ years of experience with deploying, consolidating, or maintaining SAN devices

-Experience with the development of a storage infrastructure

-Knowledge of computer networking principles

-Ability to translate requirements into needed storage and virtual machine environments 

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 10 years of experience with networking in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of DoD networks and organizations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, EE, or a related field

-CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or VMware Certification
