Instructional Design Manager

Key Role:

Support the US Army Cadet Command (USACC) in the Knowledge Management Office, producing Performance Support System (PSS) and Electronic Performance Support System (ePSS) materials in support of Knowledge, Process, and Performance Management (KPPM) initiatives. Support the USACC KMO in the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) process of the PSS and ePSS development, online content delivery, and Learning Management System (LMS) integration and optimization. Assist with establishing and executing KM strategic plans for USACC. Lead the instructional systems design section.


Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in the identification of the method of instruction, instructional media, and development of materials

-Experience with the identification of program and outcomes, the audience and learning expectations, identification of learning components, development of assessment plans, and selection of instructional methodologies

-Experience with the research of references, information and supporting materials, and development of evaluation criteria 

-Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government or professional services environment

-Experience with needs assessment, requirements development and analysis, needs curriculum development, high-level simulations, LMS, LCMS development and distribution, learning technology, or evaluation

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in ADDIE Web-based Instruction and Adobe Captivate​

-Experience with delivering professional services to the federal government

-Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) of systems

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Instructional Training and Development or related field preferred; MS degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or related field a plus
