Instructional Systems Designer, Mid

Key Role:

Apply innovative learning solutions and industry best standards seamlessly in order to address unique training challenges of the organization. Leverage knowledge of the ADDIE model, with regards to the full life cycle of course development, competency modeling, and performance management. Maintain responsibility for developing instructor-led, Web-based, and blended training solutions, including synchronous and asynchronous courses and designing and developing performance support solutions, including online help and job aids.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in an educational, corporate training, or professional services environment

-Experience with the performance of instructional design for classroom and experiential learning environments

-Experience with leading and facilitating groups, presenting briefings, and working with senior leadership teams

-Experience with conducting surveys, including design, development, data analysis, and reporting

-Experience with content management of SharePoint

-Knowledge of the ADDIE model

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Council on Occupational Education (COE) accreditation standards and policies

-Experience in consulting with DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) clients

-Experience with competency modeling and performance management

-Experience with curriculum development software, including Adobe Captivate

-Experience with delivering Synchronous Web-Based Training using software, including Adobe Connect

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SPSS

-MA or MS degree in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Organizational Design and Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology, or Business Administration

-ASTD CPLP or Kirkpatrick Certification a plus

-Instructional Design Certification
