Instructional Systems Designer, Mid

Key Role:

Engage with client staff to research and analyze organizational needs, goals, and potential growth areas. Develop organizational and functional competency models to support recruiting, performance management, career development, training and development, and other HR and business processes. Conduct TNAs at the enterprise or organizational level and effectively communicate results with high-ranking government clients to create a shared vision for training program implementation. Apply innovative learning solutions and industry best standards seamlessly to address unique training challenges of the organization. Leverage knowledge of the ADDIE model, with regards to the full life cycle of course development and competency modeling and performance management. Maintain responsibility for developing instructor-led, Web-based, and blended training solutions, including synchronous and asynchronous courses and designing and developing performance support solutions, including online help and job aids.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in an educational, corporate training, or professional services environment

-Experience with the performance of instructional design for classroom and experiential learning environments

-Experience with competency modeling and performance management

-Experience with leading and facilitating groups, presenting briefings, and working with senior leadership teams

-Experience with conducting surveys, including design, development, data analysis, and reporting

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SPSS

-Knowledge of the ADDIE model

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Council on Occupational Education (COE) accreditation standards and policies

-Experience in consulting with DoD or intelligence community (IC) clients

-MA or MS degree in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Organizational Design and Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology, or Business Administration

-MBTI, ASTD CPLP, or Kirkpatrick Certification a plus

-Instructional Design Certification
