Integrated Air and Missile Defense Research Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct assessments of US, allied, and partner nation IAMD capabilities against current and future air and missile threats. Develop IAMD products, including defense designs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), risk-to-mission analysis, and adversary air and missile threat assessments. Serve as a member of Joint and Combined Operational Planning Teams (OPT) and provide IAMD subject matter expertise and recommendations in support of USEUCOM crisis action planning, current and future operations, and deliberate planning efforts. Prepare and coordinate orders, instructions, and directives related to IAMD in support of USEUCOM plans, operations, actions, and activities. Prepare executive-level briefings, presentations, reports, assessments, information papers, and correspondence related to US, allied, and partner nation IAMD plans, operations, actions, and activities.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) plans and operations at the strategic, theater, or tactical level

-5+ years of experience with IAMD in upper-tier or lower-tier air and missile defense systems and IAMD or Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) command and control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems

-Experience with Joint or Combined operational planning with the Joint Staff, a U.S Combatant Command, NATO, or U.S Combatant Command component staff

-Experience with developing strategic or theater-level IAMD defense designs, CONOPS, and threat assessments, including gathering data, conducting analysis, and writing technical assessments and reports

-Knowledge of Joint and Combined operational planning process, U.S and foreign air and missile defense systems, integrated air and missile defense operations, NATO, and space-based IAMD capabilities

-Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with space, sea, air, or land-based air and missile warning sensors

-Experience working at a military headquarters staff and military staffing procedures

-MA or MS degree
