Integration Engineer

Key Role:

Support the modernization and integration of Army program mission applications and infrastructure components. Maintain responsibility for the configuration and initial setup of unique hardware in support of fielded and prototype systems, including communications and sensor equipment. Manage multiple versions of unique system components on unconnected systems and the multiple versions software that provides underlying architecture. Assist with the implementation and testing of the equipment setup scripts and networking, including new and different network switches and a more complex, updated global broadcast systems. Analyze and comprehend current system functional and security requirements to identify process and tool integration needs, system dependencies, integration points, system interfaces, and data flows. This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012 R2, Red Hat Linux 6 and 7, VMware, and ESXI

-Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Python, Ruby, or PHP

-Experience with design, engineering, and administration of infrastructure, including Apache, PostgreSQL, Zabbix, JBoss, and Tomcat

-Knowledge of Layers 2 and 3 network switching and routing on multiple equipment types

-TS/SCI clearance required

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Windows PowerShell or Pearl scripting

-Knowledge of one of more of the following: KVM, vSphere, JBoss, or Ozone Framework

-Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise and system-of-systems environment

-Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers and senior government officials

-BA or BS degree in CS or Engineering

-RHCSA, RHCE, Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or VCP-DCV Certification
