Intelligence Defense Research Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as an all-source intelligence analyst to provide rapid turn-around, operational level, and senior all-source analysis to enhance the supported headquarters’ ability to conduct overseas contingency operations in support of the Joint Warfighter, Combatant Commands, and Theater Commands. Fuse intelligence information from all disciplines to meet command intelligence requirements to comprehend the operational environment and regional and trans-regional threats posed by state actors, extremist organizations, and other non-state actors. Provide all-source, operational level intelligence support at CONUS and OCONUS locations and provide daily intelligence analysis through all aspects of information gathering, research, threat assessments, and predictive analysis as part of an Army component supporting Joint Warfighting analytical teams. Perform weekly battle rhythm events, including VTC’s, biweekly SCI intelligence summaries, preparing intelligence whitepapers, and weekly intelligence updates to senior leaders via written and oral means of communication, and assist with required administrative and headquarters related staff functions. Prepare to be deployed to Combatant Command theaters for no longer than 179 days, maintaining a 1:3 dwell.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with analytical intelligence gained by supporting any DoD or strategic intelligence community (IC) partners

-Knowledge of 3 or more of the following intelligence community analytic tools: DCGS-MFWS, M3 Multimedia Message Manager or HOT-R, Analyst Notebook, Google Earth, ArcGIS, Palantir, VOLTRON, IC-REACH, CIDNE, or Microsoft Office tools

-Ability to work outside a core workday in support of OCONUS requirements, including rotational shift work, Panama schedules, and other adaptations to support deployed warfighter battle rhythms

-Ability to conduct deployments for no longer than 179 days, maintaining a 1:3 dwell

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the IC in the CENTOM AOR

-Experience with AFRICOM or EUCOM

-Experience with previous OCONUS deployments within the last 10 years

-Experience with program management principles as defined by the Project Management Institute

-MA or MS degree

-Former rank of E7/CW2 and prior service as a 35F, 350F, 18F, or other DoD service equivalent duties and responsibilities, including intelligence analysts from the USAF, USN, or USMC

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
