Intelligence Graphics Analyst/Editor

Key Role:
Design and develop complex graphics and illustrations for use in intelligence products, including technical materials, manuals, and publications. Operate computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, and charts. Formulate concepts and render illustrations and detail from models, sketches, memory, verbal or written instructions, and imagination. Determine the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce the preferred effects, conform to reproduction requirements, and follow specific instructions regarding these variables. Review and edit technical literature prepared by other staff members for content, coverage, and clarity in compliance with editorial standards. Recommend overall organization and layout, mode of presentation, publication methods, and equivalent duties. Analyze the publication concept for best communication of the subject matter.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in a design environment
-3+ years of experience in the intelligence community (IC) 
-Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, or Adobe Creative Cloud
-Ability to conceptualize illustrations and information design and follow through to finished products
-Ability to provide an online portfolio or samples at the time of interview
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
-Knowledge of the DoD environment

-Knowledge of design principles and typography
-Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
