Intelligence IT Specialist

Key Role:

Serve as an intelligence automation specialist for the Military Intelligence Readiness Command, an organization with responsibility for all facets of operational automation data processing as it relates to its Headquarters, MSCs, intelligence elements, 10 CONUS–based intelligence facilities, deployed operations, and systems administration functions. Maintain responsibility for all classified networks, including Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Systems (JWICS), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Non–classified Internet Protocol Router Network, including NIPRNET, ARNET, MI NIPRNET, and an agency’s local and wide area networks. Monitor the availability and performance of classified local and wide area networks. Assist with the development of annual life cycle management plans. Execute life cycle management plans for intelligence systems outside of POR’s to ensure MIRC facilities remain current and force multipliers for training and reach operations. Manage service availability and ensure that critical intelligence systems are operational and accessible for all classified systems. Leverage technical network and computer system expertise to successfully meet operational requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with IT related to the intelligence community

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Army MI POR systems

-Knowledge of Trojan, Prophet, DCGS–A, and IEWTPT

-Knowledge of DoD circuits

-Knowledge of HAIPE devices

-Knowledge of KG175A, KG175D, and KG250

-Knowledge of Thin Client technology

-CCNA or CCNP Certification
