Intelligence System Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications. Consult with the program specialist in developing new services or enhancing existing services that expand current information dissemination capabilities. Perform systems engineering activities for IT or engineering, including concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, defining and creating system architectures, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system and operation performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis and estimation, decision analysis, and physical configuration analysis (PCA). Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Evaluate IT system accreditation configurations and documentation to ensure adequate protection of IT resources. Review floor layout, power and cooling, data storage, infrastructure management, backup, monitoring, operating systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation from an information technology perspective. This position is located in Oceanside, CA.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with technical Marine Corps intelligence communications systems and programs
-Experience with tactical network systems design, radio communications, and systems security risk analysis
-Knowledge of US Marine Corps doctrine, CONOPS, and the systems used in support of mobile Command and Control operations
-Knowledge of I MEF tactical and garrison Intelligence Communications Systems, including Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS), JWICS Video Tele-Conferencing (VTC), Requirements Management System (RMS), Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), and equivalent programs of records
-Knowledge of Intelligence Operations System (IOS), Intelligence Operations Workstation (IOW), Imagery Product Library (IPL), Tactical Electronic Reconnaissance Planning and Evaluation System (TERPES), Geospatial Information System (GIS), Advanced Tactical Airborne Reconnaissance System (ATARS), Military Integrated Database (MIDB), Tactical Exploitation Group (TEG), Secondary Imagery Dissemination System (SIDS), Community On Line Intelligence System for End Users and Managers (COLISEUM), Linked Operations-intelligence Centers Europe (LOCE) and equivalent intelligence-specific systems
-Ability to learn hardware and software life cycle support, forecasting and asset allocation
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with systems engineering, BA or BS degree and 6 years of experience with systems engineering, or MA or MS degree and 4 years of experience with systems engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, including Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Mathematics
