Intelligence System SME Instructor

Key Role:

Apply expertise in working with intelligence systems to develop and deliver classroom and e-learning training on intelligence systems. Instruct, evaluate, and counsel students in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter. Apply expertise in the Instructional System Design (ISD) process to assist with analysis, objective writing, evaluation, design, development, facilitation techniques, and maintenance of course materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises. Conduct training needs assessments and participate in course evaluations to measure the extent to which the training improved students’ knowledge and performance on the job. Evaluate student performance using oral and written formats. Identify areas of material, methods, aids used, or other elements of the training process in need of revision based on formal or informal student evaluations. Serve as a course manager or lead instructor.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as an instructor

-Experience in working with intelligence systems to develop and deliver classroom and e-learning training on intelligence systems

-Experience with two or more of the following systems: DoD data analysis tools, Geotagged Open Source Search Intelligence Program Data (GOSSIP), Palantir, Analyst Notebook, and Record Message Traffic (RMT)

-Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the functions of the automated tool LMS supporting the client, learning how distance learning programs are used by the client, and using the functions of the LMS to support student learning efficiently

-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and speak sufficiently and appropriately to instruct students on complicated subject matter

-Ability to become familiar with the functions of the automated tool LMS supporting the client and learn how distance learning programs are used by the client

-MA or MS degree preferred
