Intelligence Targeting Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Provide operational and technical support to the client’s mission in operating and equipping targeting related weapon systems. Support and contribute to the government's responsibilities of executing and evaluating kinetic and non-kinetic effects. Apply knowledge of kinetic and non-kinetic targeting functions in support of exercises and operations. Support to create, maintain, and assist with efforts to build and implement new capabilities for kinetic and non-kinetic targeting. Provide inputs to Air Force and Joint efforts to improve kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities.


Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with AF or Joint targeting

-Experience with planning, overseeing execution, and evaluating kinetic and non-kinetic effects

-Experience with target development, force application or weaponeering, CDA, and combat assessment, including MEA or BDA

-Experience with the integrated employment of the core capabilities of electronic warfare, computer network operations, psychological operations, military deception, and operations security, including specified supporting and related capabilities to influence, disrupt, corrupt, or usurp adversarial human and automated decision-making, and protecting our own

-Experience with using targeting software, including JMEM and assessing and integrating multi-source and multi-intelligence, including open-source to produce targeting products and services

-Experience with foreign threat systems and systems-of-systems

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Access and Excel

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Graduate of an AF Targeting Course


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Air Force Targeting Center, Combat Targeting Group, or 363 ISRW

-Experience with unit level, AOC, C-NAF, JCS/J2T, MAJCOM, or other service equivalent targeting preferred

-Experience with point mensuration

-Experience with training targeting at a service school

-Experience with Joint targeting assignments preferred

-Knowledge of Joint military operations, tactics, and doctrine
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree preferred

-Point Mensuration Certification

-Certified NGA Mensurated Point Dropper Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
