Intelligence Tradecraft Instructor

Key Role:

Provide strategic all-source intelligence analysis training to students at a premiere federal intelligence training center. Design and teach blocks of instruction on theory and practice of national-level all-source intelligence analysis and specific structured analytic methodologies, including analysis of competing hypothesis, pattern and trend analysis, link analysis, matrices, devil’s advocacy, evidence evaluation, and red teaming to entry level, advanced, and specialty analysis. Apply recent expertise as a senior all-source intelligence analyst to facilitate learning. Function as an advocate and a guide in a facilitator role, focusing on providing students with continuity, clarification, thematic instruction, and translation to real-life analysis situations. Provide a strategic view of the interdependencies of the topics and relationships to the overall themes and goals of the program. Leverage analytical expertise and competencies, including collection to analysis integration and collaboration, analytic design methodologies, analytic systems tools, such as TAC and Palantir, alternative futures and emerging trends. Leverage expertise in horizon scanning analysis, analytic ethics and leadership issues, Big Data analysis and systems mapping, objective-based analytic production, modeling and simulation methods, and socio-cultural analysis.


Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience working in all-source defense intelligence

-Experience as a senior defense intelligence all-source analyst at a national agency

-Knowledge of national and military intelligence organizations, including COCOMs

-Knowledge of intelligence tradecraft methods

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a facilitator in a formal training environment, preferred

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, preferred

-MA or MS degree in National Security or Intelligence Studies, preferred


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
