Interior Designer

Key Role:

Support a government architect with detailed planning and execution of interior design, furniture, art, and branding projects. Develop detailed Statements of Need (SON) for all projects requiring the submission of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) task order. Coordinate the process of gathering agency interior design, furniture, art and branding requirements. Prepare, manage, and brief the detailed art and branding tracking process, including funding and status of completion to client leadership. Lead and participate in design teams developing and managing building standards. Keep current with vendor capabilities, new products, and trends in interior design. Provide project management support for projects with impact on visual displays, furniture, or furnishings.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with supporting the detailed planning and execution of art and branding projects

-Experience with preparing detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) on art and branding projects

-Experience with preparing, updating, and briefing a detailed art and branding tracking process, including funding and status of completion to client leadership

-Experience with ensuring the aesthetic and functional integrity of interior finishes and features

-Experience with advising and providing executive support to senior government personnel

-Experience in collaborating with other intelligence community (IC) interior design professionals

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications

-AA or AS degree preferred; BA or BS degree a plus
