Internal Business Process Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a member of the Booz Allen corporate group in the MENA region, working with teams in the region to redesign business processes and support ongoing operations. Provide client teams with management consulting on organization redesign and new business processes. Maintain responsibility for managing smaller projects or segments of larger projects related to growth and optimizing efforts within the region. Provide client teams with consulting on other effects of new business processes and maintain contact with middle and senior level staff within the region and with middle and senior level staff internally on projects to be managed. Apply proven project management expertise and support practice development initiatives. Work independently in a region apart from the direct manager with a portion of work directed by management, observe needs and areas for improvement, and recommend additional projects to better serve the client teams in the assigned geography.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working or living in the MENA region

-Ability to lead a team of matrixed resources of different functions and roles

-Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects with different urgencies in a timely manner and proven strategy or methodology for tracking and following up on the progress of tasks to ensure that nothing is left unaddressed

-Ability to work effectively without direct supervision with a record of success in managing own work and being accountable to the completion of work

-Ability to be forthcoming and detailed with the status of projects and the occurrence of issues or risks

-Ability to participate in meetings and provide email correspondence outside of normal working hours

-BA or BS degree and 7+ years of experience with consultative work emphasizing business process redesign or MA or MS degree and 4+ years of experience with consultative work emphasizing business process redesign

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent leadership skills

-MA or MS degree in Business Administration or a related field

-Project Management Professional Certification or other PMI education
