Internal Talent Mapping and Workforce Planning Specialist

Key Role:

Serve as a talent mapping leader interfacing with business leaders firmwide to project and address human capital needs across the firm. Play a key role in the identification and deployment planning of internal talent to be aligned to firmwide opportunities and attend staffing meetings, leadership meetings, or other applicable meetings where demand, open roles, or available staff are discussed. Serve as the main point of contact for all levels of leadership regarding available talent data, including information on deployment, availability, affordability, development or learning trends, and engagement. Deliver the role from the Washington Metro Area or a Booz Allen office or talent hub and travel to other Booz Allen sites between 25-50% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with internal staffing or human capital resource deployment, talent acquisition, or account management in a contract staffing services firm

-Experience with building trusted advisor relationships to inform and influence business decisions

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including firm provisioned tools, such as Microsoft Teams and Web or video conference

-Ability to be a skilled communicator with employees at all levels of the organization, displaying a track record of effectively building and growing relationships

-Ability to translate trends and metrics into tangible staffing plans and outcomes or use data and analytics to inform decision making processes and action planning in a client facing environment

-Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with leading and developing high-performing teams
-Experience with designing and implementing internal career mobility best practices
-Experience with consulting

-Experience with implementing change management best practices or leading organization through change
-Knowledge of internal Booz Allen business development processes, systems, and reporting
-Ability to conduct action orientation leading to measurable outcomes
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including reports
