International System Protection Security Support Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as an onsite, in-country intermediate level analyst for missile defense. Provide client interface and report to clients and contractor team leadership, work in a team environment, and comprehend complex weapon systems. Assist with orchestrating protective measures to safeguard BMDS information from loss, compromise, or unauthorized disclosure and protect the missile defense workforce, facilities, and infrastructure from threats and the effects of natural disasters. Engage in activities, including performing analysis, developing plans, preparing reports, attending meetings, conducting surveys, maintaining and updating databases, and conducting training. Act as the in-country liaison and coordinate with EIR System Protection team to assist missile defense with all aspects of protecting the workforce, facilities, infrastructure, and safeguard information, assist with anti-threat force protection, emergency management, and physical security concerns, and leverage knowledge of DoD security-related policies and issuances, specifically DoDI 5200.08-R, DoDI 5200.08, DoDD 2000.12, and DoDD 4270.5. Prepare manuals, standard operating procedures, and fixed facility checklists outlining regulations, establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials, and coordinate security education classes and security audits. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventative action to be taken for approval.


Basic Qualifications:

-7 years of experience with security in missile defense

-Experience in a security role embedded within the arena of complex weapons systems design, fielding, or deployment

-Experience with office software

-Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

-Ability to relocate for up to 90 days at a time in a foreign country

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
