Introduction to Service Analyst

Key Role:
Support the development and management of the F-35 user’s introduction to service (ITS) activities for assigned sites and support all processes regarding the F-35 ITS, including site surveys and reports, site-specific activation plans (SSAP), facility design reviews (DRs), site activation task force (SATAF) events, sustainment readiness reviews (SRRs), and initial operational capability supportability reviews (IOCSRs). Support the coordination of all sustainment contract activity, including requirements identification, proposal generation, statements of work, technical evaluations, contract negotiations and oversight, and performance evaluation. Support the generation of a F-35 user-specific integrated sustainment plan (ISP), the F-35 user weapons system planning document (WSPD) enclosure, and monitoring and oversight of all sustainment contract activity. Assist the ITS lead by coordinating between contractors, and F-35 users, brief stakeholders and leadership on the status of F-35 user sustainment activities, represent the client at various meetings and boards, and assist with directing contractor and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve problems at F-35 user sites. Assist the ITS lead with coordinating F-35 acquisition policy with that of the F-35 user. Attend meetings, reviews, working groups, telecoms, and provide analytic support, including supporting the generation of briefing materials, meeting minutes, action items, point and policy papers, instructions, and plans, as directed. Support the team’s information management by using standardized F-35 tools and provide expertise in the subject matter to the program manager and security assistance program manager (SAPM), as required.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance, military logistics, program management, or military aviation
-Experience with the Microsoft Office program suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Project
-Knowledge of project management methodologies
Ability to gather and analyze a variety of program information, make sound judgments concerning program progress, and communicate with higher organizational management effectively both orally and in writing
-BA or BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and processes
-Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition and systems engineering required to plan, organize, and manage critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment
-Knowledge of security assistance (SA) and security cooperation (SC) programs, including the FMS sales process from case development, implementation, and execution to closure in accordance with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), DoD 5105.38-M
-MA or MS degree
