Investor Relations Financial Analyst

Key Role:

Work closely with finance and other corporate functions, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate development, and marketing and communications, interact with senior leaders, and develop a variety of professional skillsets. Perform ongoing competitive analysis while remaining informed about developments in the competitor landscape by deriving insights from analyst research reports and earnings calls, among other sources of information. Produce daily and quarterly competitor news briefings and earnings summaries for management, maintain various databases, including earnings updates and competitor operational metrics, manage investor relations metrics, and produce leadership briefings. Assess a shareholder base, identifying investor target and tracking outreach activity and update analyst estimates and synthesize research commentary. Conduct quantitative analysis to inform important financial decisions, performing trend analysis and benchmarking operational metrics. Produce and support client-facing investor relations materials, including quarterly earnings call materials, investor presentations, periodic investor newsletters, management engagement, and the externally-facing investor relations Web site.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with financial analysis and reporting, including in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or corporate finance

-Experience with Excel and PowerPoint 

-Experience with financial industry data tools, including CapIQ, Thomson One, and FactSet

-Experience with financial concepts to internal and external audiences

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with producing leadership-level decks

-Experience with government services industry valuation

-Knowledge of the defense and government services industry

-Ability to present complicated ideas through concise and visually appealing presentations

-Ability to deliver results on time and work under limited guidance

-Ability to show attention to detail

-Possession of excellent financial modeling skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in Finance or Accounting
