IT Asset Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Provide IT asset management support by overseeing software configuration management. Support policy writing, briefing development, life cycle management, IT asset management, IT network transformation, and process improvement efforts. Maintain responsibility for a database of IT asset management data and analyze and verify software inventory from fielding to retirement. Perform continuous activities to record, validate, manage, and ensure the accuracy of records. Plan and support IT stakeholder meetings to address key software configuration management data and criterion.

Basic Qualifications: 
-7+ years of experience with IT portfolio management or software configuration management

-7+ years of experience with performing research, analysis, authoring, and coordination for formal military messaging, instructions, and policy documentation
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
-Experience with maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of a records database
-Experience with facilitating and coordinating working group-level meetings
-Experience with coordinating across numerous and mostly external stakeholders
-Experience with recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, locations, and contracts

-Experience with daily administration of asset management activities

-Ability to coordinate with management when using asset management tools to analyze, review, and track asset data

-Ability to manage asset reconciliation and asset disposal agreements

-Ability to oversee recruitment, training, and performance appraisals for associates

-Ability to educate associates about company policies

-Ability to assist with inventory management, procurement, and shipment activities

-Ability to monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standards

-Ability to ensure audit compliance for the IT assets
