IT Engineering Manager, Lead

Key Role:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues, including making recommendations that lead to better decisions, such as informing strategy across all aspects of the digital experience. Leverage data that tells the UX strategist how users interact with their product or where they aren’t behaving as expected. Assist developers with determining what’s broken and which design performs best. Optimize the methods clients use to reach customers, predict user needs, and reveal what they think about a brand or products. Shape numbers into narratives, including visualizing data in ways that highlight items of importance and helps decision-makers make clear and confident choices. Oversee multiple projects to meet project milestones, schedules, and scope in alliance with best practices, identify reoccurring issues, and work with IT and business partners to remediate using the problem management process. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and documents requirements, including conducting requirements gathering sessions, documenting requirements, and validating requirements with stakeholders for current environments and future trends.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with IT systems
-5+ years of experience as a technical engineering and operations manager
-4+ years of experience with 3 or more of the following solutions: SCCM, BigFix, Group Policy, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Active Directory, MBAM and Bitlocker, BeyondTrust PowerBroker, and PowerShell
-Experience with leading a team in the day-to-day delivery of desktop engineering and end user support services
-Experience with performing application packaging, deployments, documentation, or release control in an enterprise IT environment
-Experience with providing advice, technical consultation, and Level 3 support guidance by analyzing and resolving problems 
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to provide coaching, technical guidance, and training to team members
-Ability to guide the team and assist with analyzing standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, policies, and procedures
-Ability to develop stable core, standard desktop images and departmental overlays
-Ability to lead a team in developing rigorous testing disciplines to ensure stable computing platforms
-Ability to oversee multiple projects and teams to meet project milestones, schedules, and scope in alliance with best practices
-Ability to identify recurring issues and work with IT and business partners to remediate using the problem management processes
-Public Trust clearance
-BA or BS degree in CS or a related field
