IT Governance analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Provide analytic and project management support to the Navy's Cyber strategic integration and governance to facilitate communication between Navy leadership and stakeholders to ensure execution of Department of the Navy (DON) policy. Analyze and coordinate related policies to support Cyber strategic integration and governance efforts. Use SharePoint to coordinate communication and briefs for senior Navy leadership. Participate in Navy and DoD stakeholder meetings to address policies, requirements, and management of transformation efforts. Create the following in support of governance activities, including meeting agendas, meeting minutes, email meeting invitations, request for facility reservations, talking points for meetings, and plans of actions and milestones.

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with capability definition and operation of IT

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel         

-Experience with SharePoint

-Knowledge in development of standards, governance, and policy

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD or Navy staff as a member of the military or a civilian or contractor in Joint Staff, OPNAV, or Navy SYSCOMs

-Experience in interfacing with military and civilian officials at the O-6 and GS-15 levels

-Experience with Navy staff as a member of the military or a civilian or contractor in Joint Staff, OPNAV, or Navy SYSCOMs

-Experience with planning, organizing, and facilitating meetings

-Knowledge of key Navy programs and systems currently in service and under development

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
