IT Help Desk Analyst

Key Role:

Provide help desk support and resolve problems to satisfy end user needs, including training support. Monitor and respond to help desk tickets generated by end users and fulfill the tickets to the end user’s satisfaction. Maintain the help desk tracking software and the inventory for all hardware, software, and software licenses. Analyze current system functionality and design configuration and provide operations and maintenance support to ensure that all applications and subsystems are operational during regular business hours. Maintain a backup and recovery strategy, daily system backups, problem tracking, and troubleshooting log. Maintain operational documentation and support transformation to standard federal government operations.

Basic Qualifications:

-1 year of experience in a help desk role

-Experience with writing technical and non-technical documentation

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize according to deadlines

-Ability to work independently with little supervision and communicate well with the team and clients

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of computer languages, including Java, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, and JavaScript

-Knowledge of Oracle development and writing SQL queries, procedures, and script execution
