IT/IA/IM Configuration Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze the plans, policies and procedures for documenting and controlling all IT, IA, and IM system components, including networks, hardware, software, and associated work products throughout the system's life. Create and maintain an up-to-date record of all system components, including hardware and software. Illustrate physical locations and links between each item. Establish and maintain consistency of a system or product's performance, functions, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information. Control all program work products associated with the development and maintenance of system hardware and software components, including concepts, requirements, designs, tests, and operating procedures. Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. 

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with IT configuration management

-Experience with IT, IA, and IM baseline configuration for all project work for project oversight, including office-level oversight and control

-Experience with analyzing the development of policy for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items

-Ability to maintain a configuration management database (CMDB)

-Ability to define configuration procedures, including identification, change control, status accounting, and audits

-Ability to support the configuration management board, including scheduling meetings, developing an agenda, entering board data into databases, and installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting problems for the board's action items and issues

-Ability to record and report the change process and implementation status for applications and track and monitor status of change requests (CRs), discrepancy reports (DRs), and requests for change (RFCs) for IT, IA, and IM

-Ability to manage the configuration of IT, IA, and IM software executable to environments, including development, test, staging, and production

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Possession of excellent teamwork skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills

-BA or BS degree or 12 years of experience as a configuration manager supporting IT systems
