IT Program Manager, Lead

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for planning and managing programs to meet product delivery, quality, and cost goals on consulting engagements. Act as project team leader, including reviewing user or technical requirements, identifying tasks, assigning and coordinating resources, and creating or tracking project schedules. Ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution. Work on advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical knowledge and industry. Provide expertise as a consultant with capability knowledge, including excelling at client delivery and leveraging expertise in a specific area. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital. Develop competency in project and financial management and be involved in managing teams and formulating business strategy. This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with developing, deploying, and sustaining IT systems
-7+ years of experience with project management
-3+ years of experience as an IT project program manager
-Experience with Agile software development methodologies and requirements management
-Experience with project budget management, including analyzing and maintaining project budgets, tracking actual costs, and implementing corrective actions to ensure project costs stay within specified tolerance levels
-Experience with project planning, including analyzing the translation of functional requirements into project plans and project execution, such as implementing all project phases, such as design, development, integration and test, and operations and maintenance (O&M)
-Experience with Intelligence Community Directive 503 (ICD 503)’s authorization and accreditation (A&A) processes
-Knowledge of project management fundamentals, including schedule management, risk management, issues management, and project leadership
-Top Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree in Mission Information Systems, CS, Business, or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent team leadership and client relationship skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers 
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
-MA or MS degree in Business, Management, or Engineering preferred
-Program Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
