IT Program Manager

Key Role:

Act as a business leader and maintain responsibility for managing programs and projects throughout the software development life cycle. Lead and manage software and service engagements and maintain responsibility for successful delivery, client relationships, and contract performance. Apply knowledge and principles of program management, project management, IT, and system development to manage the development and implementation of large programs. Leverage experience with advising technical and business clients and supporting organizational change management in a fast-paced environment.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with management consulting and deck writing

-Experience in working with software project teams, including managing projects using various SDLC models, such as Agile and Scrum

-Experience with consulting to the federal government and leading project teams and client relationships

-Experience with successful business development, including leading and supporting proposal efforts

-Experience with strategy development, business process reengineering, organization design, and change management in a professional or consulting environment

-Experience with defining and assigning tasks effectively

-Ability to work with client organizations to translate business needs into a technology strategy and solution and gather and analyze data effectively

-Ability to leverage a technology background, including the successful design and delivery of software systems, IT system assessments, analysis of alternatives, product selection processes, and technology strategy implementations

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with the Internal Revenue Service

-Ability to manage multiple projects and teams, including adjusting to shifting priorities in a fast-pace environment

-Ability to deal with a variety of options in complex situations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

-Public Trust clearance

-MBA or MS degree

-PMP Certification
