IT Programmatic Advisor, Senior

Key Role:

Provide thought leadership and expertise in supporting the acquisition management of a Navy Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program. Act as senior advisor to government program manager. Develop and maintain relationships, coordinating across the program management office, program executive office, and Navy and OSD organizations. Assist with assigned tasks with high visibility, and work products inform the most senior executives in the Navy and DoD chain of command. Work with IT stakeholders to interpret and implement applicable policies and requirements. Identify risks and issues, develop recommendations for resolution, and escalate status to leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience working in a program management of a large complex information systems requiring development, integration, and implementation

-3+ years of experience with supporting ACAT I MAIS programs 

-2+ years of experience as a Program Manager of DoD IT system

-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-PMP Certification, and DAWIA PM Level III

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a Navy Officer, O-4 or higher

-Experience with Naval Shore Networks Engineering & Architecture

-Ability to lead a team, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks with senior clients

-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
