IT Project Coordinator, Mid

Key Role:

Support Navy organization charged with the planning, development, and execution of the Navy's transition to and adoption of the DoD’s IT modernization effort in a Joint information environment. Support associated Cybersecurity architecture for the Joint regional security stack. align and synchronize efforts across Navy and DoD stakeholders and Navy network systems and programs. Support team leads on strategy development and task execution planning, and advise team leads and clients on project analysis, evaluation, and implementation planning. Recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, coordinate participation and facilitation of integrated process team meetings, and support additional related working groups. Work with key stakeholders to develop and maintain migration timelines, and track numerous ongoing actions. Assist with the maintenance of a knowledge management portal and information sharing and supporting planning, developing, and delivering of strategic communications products to a broad stakeholder audience.


Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with project planning in a consulting environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting Department of Navy clients or initiatives

-Experience with using Microsoft Visio

-Ability to work independently

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 Foundations Certification
