IT Project Coordinator, Senior

Key Role:

Support Navy organization charged with the planning, development, and execution of the Navy's transition to and adoption of the DoD’s IT modernization effort Joint Information Environment and associated Cyber security architecture Joint regional security stack. Align and synchronize efforts across Navy and DoD stakeholders and Navy network systems and programs. Support efforts on strategy development and task execution planning and advise clients with project analysis, evaluation and implementation planning of Navy networks transitioning to JRSS. Recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Work with key stakeholders to develop and maintain migration timelines, including tracking numerous ongoing actions. Work to resolve issues arising from daily activities while applying broad management, functional expertise, and knowledge to mitigate those issues. Support planning, development, and delivery of strategic communications products to a broad stakeholder audience, including leveraging knowledge management tools to enhance information sharing.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with project management in a consulting environment

-Experience with Microsoft products including Office, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting Department of Navy clients and initiatives

-Excellent oral and written communication skills

-Ability to work independently
