IT Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Oversee VA FMBT Momentum implementation. Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and maintain responsibility for determining and acquiring needed resources. Apply knowledge of the entire scope and requirements of the project and serve as a liaison between team members and functional area management requesting the project. Leverage knowledge of and experience with large-scale government IT financial management implementations. Provide oversight, technical, managerial, and administrative direction for this complex IT financial system. Assist with leading a large team, including overseeing staff and schedule and meeting client deliverables and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience the project manager of an IT financial system

-Experience with implementing Momentum

-Experience with providing oversight and resource planning for complex government IT systems

-Experience with implementing business process reengineering, developing financial models, orchestrating change management principles, and conducting performance measurements as it relates to providing decisions and direction to resources

-Knowledge of Veteran Affairs processes

-Ability to develop long-term strategies associated with the VA market and support health account business development and marketing efforts

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Job Description:

-Experience with VA

-Experience with VA badged, cleared, and active VA network account

-Experience with Shared Service

-BA or BS degree

-PMP Certification
