IT Project Manager

Key Role:

Manage the delivery of complex IT projects through the application of commercial industry best practices, technologies, and resources to develop, enhance and modernize IT Solutions. Maintain responsibility for overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and delivery of all projects prioritized in alignment with the client’s expectations and business needs. Serve as a specialist on complex technical and business matters and prioritize work based on general direction from customers. Provide strategic recommendations and create processes for a team to handle all aspects of an IT implementation project-lead a cross-functional Agile delivery team spanning development, requirements management, quality assurance, analytics, content management, stakeholder relationship management, CPIC and security. Serve as a senior leader on IT programs, managing project staff and resources, funding, risk management and mitigation. Oversee the ongoing process and system capability associated with projects and manage any changes required to meet or exceed client expectations. Liaise between senior leadership from multiple clients, including comprehend the needs of different agency policies and procedures


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with Project Management

-Experience with leading projects or program and guiding the efforts of multi-functional teams

-Experience in developing and presenting deliverables, recommendations and analysis to clients or groups of stakeholders

-Knowledge of IT Project Management, IT Requirements, Enterprise Architecture, SDLC, or IT reform

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with federal consulting

-Experience with various software development methodologies

-Experience with directly supporting Chief Information Officer (CIOs) or CTOs

-Knowledge of project financials, project tracking and controls

-Knowledge of project performance measurement, EVM, Project Schedule, and financial- reporting

-Project Management or Program Management Certification
