IT Specialist

Key Role:

Provide expertise in analytical, advisory, technical, and analysis work to Air Force client activities. Maintain responsibility for installation, maintenance, upgrades, and security compliance of classified and unclassified MPC information technology to ensure 24/7/365 uninterrupted operations to support global client missions. Assist the IT lead with the design, development, fielding, and modifications to future MPC systems or architectures. Engage in all aspects of supporting and administering a mixed Windows and UNIX server and desktop environment, with a variety of different storage technologies or methodologies. This position is located at Beale AFB, CA.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with maintaining and using geo-spatial databases

-Ability to articulate complex data to non-technical audiences

-Ability to maintain both Windows and UNIX-based systems

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED
-DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with C4ISR or Air Force IT systems

-AA or AS degree and 4 years of experience in a professional work environment or BA or BS degree in CS or a related technical field


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
