IT Strategist

Key Role:

Perform as the go-to person to integrate business goals and objectives with specific IT strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. Advise organizational leadership on emerging technologies, how to implement them, and work alongside leadership to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value, reduce cost and risk, foster innovation, and maximize accountability and return on investment. Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope and contribute to the completion of routine technical tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as an intern, support contractor, government staff, or industry staff

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Experience with completing individual tasks effectively

-Experience with working in a team environment

-Ability to gather and analyze data effectively

-Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems

-Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in Winter 2018 or Spring 2019

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
